Martin Beck → Martin Beck (fictional detective) – Move is necessary per WP:NOPRIMARY. See Martin Beck (disambiguation). In particular Martin Beck (vaudeville) is just as likely to be a search term as he was the founder of the famous Orpheum Circuit and an important Broadway impresario and seminal figure in American theatre.4meter4 (talk) 16:04, 5 August 2021 (UTC) — Relisting. - Oppose Page view stats show over 90 percent going to the current primary, which also appears to dominate Google results. While there are certainly other pages of the same name who are important, the discrepancy in long term significance I would say would be needed to justify overriding such a clear leader in usage and as the intended target of readers navigating to the page is not happening here. We are also not talking about some sort of recent pop culture franchise here whose impact may be limited -- for a subject to be still getting such an overwhelming majority of views a half century after its creation shows clear long term notability, and the existence of other topics alone is not reason for no primary topic (otherwise, we wouldn't even have a primary topic concept).--Yaksar (let's chat) 17:46, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose per User:Yaksar. 162 etc. (talk) 01:30, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. There are eight entries — five men, one woman (known during her vaudeville days and subsequently as Mrs. Martin Beck), one Broadway theater (which was known as "The Martin Beck" from 1924 until 2003) and also one character who are listed upon the Martin Beck (disambiguation) page. The character is indeed well known, but so was the impresario after whom the theater was named. Mrs. Martin Beck was a top figure in the theatre industry, while Martin Beck (painter) and Martin Beck (artist) are also major figures. It does not seem that the Swedish character overwhelms the combined notability of the other seven entries. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 06:03, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom, no WP:PRIMARYTOPIC.--Ortizesp (talk) 23:01, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. I agree with Yaksar. I get nothing but the fictional detective searching, and I don't live anywhere near Sweden. The pageviews are a pretty clear indication that the current setup is working fine. Nohomersryan (talk) 17:58, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
