Documentary on NYRB
editScorsese previewed The 50 Year Argument, his documentary about the New York Review of Books at the German Berlinale film festival in February. See also this. It will now be broadcast on BBC Four and will premiere in June 2014 at the Sheffield Doc/Fest (see "Martin Scorsese premiere for Sheffield Doc/Fest", BBC, May 8, 2014). -- Ssilvers (talk) 19:30, 2 June 2014 (UTC)

Commentaries section
editDoes anyone else think the commentaries section has become a mess? It doesn't look like there's a proper order, and even if there were it makes more sense to make it in order of commentary, rather than the release year of the original film. Can someone take care of this? YouCanDoBetter (talk) 02:32, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
Stop Posting Goncharov
editplease stop committing Wikipedia vandalism for the bit. We get it. It’s funny. But people need a place to actually figure out that it’s fake or it stops being funny and starts being mean. 134.117.249.65 (talk) 18:01, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
- By the way y'all, part of the humor in the joke is that we all openly know its fake. Adding 'Goncharov' would only make the whole thing less funny. — Ixtal ( T / C ) ⁂ Non nobis solum. 18:11, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- If the meme continues to grow, is it worth adding an "In popular culture" section to reference this & clear up confusion? It's significant enough to be, apparently, newsworthy - and it is a pop culture event very specifically related to the filmography of Martin Scorsese. --Paxwort (talk) 21:10, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- We'll check back in a year to see what the status is on that, I think. ~Maplestrip/Mable (chat) 21:20, 22 November 2022 (UTC)
- @Paxwort, it's been included at List of Internet phenomena. That's the appropriate place for it, not this article. Schazjmd (talk) 23:56, 22 November 2022 (UTC)

Acting performances and documentary appearances
editHi. In this section please add a column to the table to indicate the director of the films. Some of them are directed by himself, and some by others. Aminabzz (talk) 10:26, 18 November 2023 (UTC)
Two cameos missing
editMarty has a cameo in a season 2 episode of the sopranos. Also, the movie casino where he was seen as a guy in the count room. Brad (talk) 03:22, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
