- Thats a nice collection you have. You should get some nice money at auction. I have a collection of interesting Mary Pickford letters. marcus-stevo@att.net 206.192.35.125 (talk) 12:27, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

Filming Location
editThe filming location was Houmas House Plantation, 40136 Highway 942, Burnside, Louisiana, USA and not Oak Alley.

- Yep.. i was a Mardi Gras tourist in '79 or '80, and took the tour bus over to this locale. The mansion looked as it did in the movie -eck!- due to lack of care by owners. Moldy, rundown, Spanish moss hanging from the old oak trees etc. Weren't allowed inside, but could walk the grounds. Tour mainly focused on the place as characteristic of the by-gone era of Sugar Plantation Barons. 2600:1700:A760:C10:F5A2:568F:D813:4DB1 (talk) 04:18, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

Error: 1928 neighbor Courteney Cox
editThe article describes Astor's neighbors after she got married in 1928 and moved into a new house. Those neighbors supposedly include Courteney Cox, who was born in the 1960s. Any idea who was meant instead? Can we just remove Cox?--109.90.132.241 (talk) 09:02, 22 September 2018 (UTC)
- The list of other people having lived at Appian Way is not described as "neighbours", but I agree that the list is partly misleading and totally irrelevant. It was added by an anonymous editor, without any sources, on 25 November 2016. It ought to be removed. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 11:03, 22 September 2018 (UTC)
Outcome of Custody Case
editIt would be helpful if someone would add a sentence or two concerning the outcome of the custody case. There's good detail about Mary's diary but nothing about the outcome of the custody case.Eddie Swails (talk) 19:03, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Ed S.
