editWhoever keeps reverting my edits, please stop. Since nothing in this article has a source I don't see why my contribution is less valid or verifiable than any other. I have a recording, that is very obviously the same song, called "Mathilda" by King Radio from a compilation LP documenting Trinidadian calypso from 1930-1939. I don't know if King Radio was the stage name of the Harry Thomas mentioned in this article, but the song predates Belafonte's recording by several decades. 75.49.251.170 (talk) 04:26, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- My sources are the albums and their liner notes. You could re-add the information if you also source it. It wasn't clear from the text whether "King Radio" was some guy, or the name of a radio station. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 04:51, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- I like your edit better, thanks! 75.49.251.170 (talk) 23:55, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
Language
editDoes anybody know what language the song is written? Is it Pidgin or is it a Kreol language? 10:51, 21 May 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rasmusklump (talk • contribs)
