Copyviol
editHas no one notice that nearly all this article has been copied from internet sites, mainly in word-for-word transcriptions? I have altered all that but invite other editors to help redress the situation. FWIW Bzuk (talk) 22:25, 13 January 2008 (UTC).
- I believe Wikipedia may have an internal program that searches for copied text (might be wrong). In any case, you should be aware that a lot of websites copy FROM Wikipedia because it is in the public domain. That is what you may be seeing. Some of those websites copy it automatically, as they are just site set up to display advertising. 5Q5 (talk) 12:06, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
Background Music
editDoes anyone know what piece of music is playing in the background in the airport lunch-room scene, at about 1 hour 15 minutes into the film, when Gary Cooper is telling Stanwyck that he's beginning to understand the whole "John Doe" idea? I could swear it's "Begin the Beguine," but I can't find a music list for the movie anywhere, or any mention of this recording anywhere on the internet. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks. - If it's not Begin the Beguine, I don't know what it could be. Note also that Disney's Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee is played at least twice. WilliamSommerwerck (talk) 16:43, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
Arsenic and Old Lace?
editThis article says Gary Cooper was in Arsenic and Old Lace. He was not. That's Cary Grant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.114.235.2 (talk) 21:53, 28 May 2015 (UTC)
- I cannot find any such mention in the article as of this date. It does, however, mention Capra's involvement with the film, so maybe you read the line in the intro wrong. 5Q5 (talk) 12:10, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
Comedy
editGreat film...eerily topical...but it sure as heck is not a comedy.... user:purplechez, 12/24/16 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.99.147.91 (talk) 15:09, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
