I think it deserves some mention - it was covered in several reliable sources. Can you provide a rewording that I could edit the page to say? Ollieinc (talk) 07:44, 22 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
I've slightly rewritten the section and added a source. Echoing what Ollieinc said, the controversy was covered widely by reliable sources so it should be mentioned, but you're welcome to suggest changes to how it's discussed in the article. If you do, make sure to change "answered=yes" to "answered=no" in the template. Volteer1 (talk) 08:09, 22 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
I assume this request was sent by the comedian herself because the username 'meladoodle' is what she uses on other platforms. Wikipedia is designed to be an encyclopedia on many topics and you were deemed notable enough to have a page on yourself. When writing on the subject of you, we will need to document both the good and the bad things you have done. Wikipedia is designed to be neutral and to hide well-documented but unpleasant information about you would be whitewashing, which violates the purpose of Wikipedia. Regardless though, it was 3 years ago and irrelevant, will be increasingly more irrelevant as time goes on, and while you have already done so much with your life, you have a very bright future ahead of you. Learn from your mistakes and be careful. All the best. Nexus000 (talk) 23:38, 17 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Why was semi-protection removed? There is literally a news article about the repeated vandalism this page gets, and when the protection was removed, it was vandalised again soon after. Nexus000 (talk) 13:34, 13 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
It expired automatically because it was only protected for so many months. You can request that it be protected again at WP:RPP, though if there keeps being trouble I'd probably request it myself. ‑‑Volteer1 (talk) 15:36, 13 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
