While creating this page, it dawned on me that it's difficult to pin down any sort of elevation for Menunketesuck Island. The island practically doubles in size during low tide, meaning that half of its "potential" size is actually below sea level. At high tide, the island consists of a perimeter of gently-sloped beaches, while the interior of the island rises quite abruptly to elevations of perhaps anywhere form 5 to 10 feet above mean sea level. I have included the elevation at roughly 3 feet currently, as this seems to be the only vaguely appropriate average I can come up with. Any suggestions are welcome, though...
