MILLHAVEN I have to inform you, Wikipedia, that the prison break from Millhaven Maximum security prison in 1973 by 12 men, is NOT fictional! I lived on a farm in just outside of Bath, Ontario when this happened. We still have the newspapers to prove it. This was a very terrifying time with police all over our property every day. There were roadblocks set up everywhere. One morning I came downstairs to see one of the convicts pumping water from our well. It really upsets me that you would report this to the world as fictional, because I still have nightmares from that escape. Milllhaven/CSC Staff Defacing Wiki

edit

Be advised: staff members at Millhaven Institution are intentionally defacing the Wikipedia page for the same. They are not happy that valid info is being added to the wiki. I have been insulted, and threatened by them. They clearly have malicious intent, and wish to hide true details of the institution.

I will not allow them to continue to act in this way, and will check regularly to ensure that the wiki page is accurate and not defaced. I guess it shows you that many staff at CSC think they are above the rules, and act in that manner often. It's unfortunate that this user (moneywagon) cannot spell or "fallow" the rules. His track record on Wikipedia speaks for itself. He uses mostly a proxy IP address to do his deeds. (24.222.1.2)

You cannot hide the facts.

I never threatened you, and i don't actually work for the CSC, but it made you take down all your BS about TOW and LAW rockets which was all i wanted.

Don't worry...I will put it back up when I have a citation....which I will soon. I have an insider getting me photos. I will buzz you when it's up.

Can't wait to see the photos, all i wanted was proof — Preceding unsigned comment added by Moneywagon (talkcontribs) 14:44, 22 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Terrorism section and WP:BLP

edit

I've changed the title of this section a couple times now to comply with the biographies of living persons policy. Titling the section "terrorism" implies that the inmates detained there are terrorists, and we can't say that for sure. I first changed the title to "foreign nationals" based on my reading of the section, but user Redeightyone rightly corrected me that Canadians are also detained there. I'm not an expert but based on my reading of the security certificate article individuals can be detained without having been convicted of a crime, therefore we cannot imply that they have. I've changed the title now to "national security" but I'm open to changing it to something more appropriate. Ivanvector (talk) 14:40, 31 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

ivanvector I agree "National Security" is a good title. It covers all the bases in regards to that unit. I suppose "Terrorists" is too specific, although in all likelihood that is what the inmates on those "security certificates" are suspected of. Thank you for putting time and effort into this page.
