edit- Lead
- the first sentence in the lead is excessively long and should be split to make it more readable.
- "had a near-death experience and cured miraculously" is grammatically incorrect possibly "was miraculously cured" would be better.
- "the film scheduled to be released" should be "the film is scheduled to be released"
- Plot
- Anna's disease is diagnosed by Dr. Burgi, the pediatric specialist in Ft. Worth, not by Dr. Nurko in Boston. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.69.3.85 (talk) 05:08, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- do you know what the rare digestive disease is? the disease should be linked if known.
- " no evidence of the chronic illness is found." The illness can be chronic or acute, and considering she got better, I'm going to go with acute. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sobeita (talk • contribs) 21:21, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
- "and only able to eat by feeding tubes" the use of feeding tubes is not strictly eating
- "miraculously cured after surviving a near-death experience" is grammatically incorrect
- this is an excessively long sentence now, should be split to make it more readable.
- Cast
- "sick girls mother" the daughter actually has a name
- "girl's father" does he have a name in the film?
- there are other key cast members that should be included in the list
- what role does John Carroll Lynch play
- just need to indicate Eugenio Derbez's role - the description of who the character is inspired by should be included in the plot or production section
- Production
- "was only able to eat by feeding tubes" - see previous comment
- "She was cured after a miraculous visit to heaven and saved from a near-death experience" is grammatically incorrect
- there are multiple times that 'set' is used (i.e. "and set Randy Brown" and "Jennifer Garner was set to star") which is not the correct use of the word and an alternative should be applied.
- THR should be the full name and not the abbreviation
- "Same day, Variety confirmed" is grammatically incorrect - possibly should be "On the same day Variety confirmed"
- Release
- "Sony set the film for an March" once again incorrect use of 'set'
- References
- The reference citations rather than variety.com and hollywoodreporter.com and deadline.com should link to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline.com
- Reference [9] needs to include publisher/newspaper details

There are still a few outstanding issues, as follows:
- "an uncured digestive disorder" should possibly be "an incurable digestive disorder" otherwise it implies that she could be cured
- I think you'll find Anna suffered from "antral hypomotility disorder and pseudo-obstruction motility disorder"
- Her near death experience was her fall from a large tree
- Need to identify what role John Carroll Lynch plays
- "who befriends the girl" should be "who befriends Anna"
- "and the doctor of Anna" should be "Anna's doctor"
- THR should be the full name and not the abbreviation.
All in all it's looking a lot better. Dan arndt (talk) 23:13, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

Almost there:
- "The girl is suffering" should be "Anna is suffering"
- "And later she is miraculously" should be "Following which she is miraculously"
- "Later, the filming was confirmed by various sources, along with that cinematographer Checco Varese, production designer David R. Sandefur, and editor Emma E. Hickox were also announced." should be "Filming was subsequently confirmed by various sources, together with announcements that David R. Sandefur and Emma E. Hickox had been appointed as the production designer and editor respectively."
Everything else looks fine.Dan arndt (talk) 10:14, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
