The only reference is Yachting Escapes: The Caribbean, hardly a reliable source for such a topic. It says, "Renowned practitioners include Miriam Cruz & Las Chicas Del Can..." That's it. Nothing else. As such, it's next to useless, giving nothing other than her membership of a band. Nothing else is sourced, not even date and place of birth. Therefore, I have removed the Yachting reference and tagged the article as unreferenced. Perhaps someone with a good knowledge of the subject and the language can look at the equivalent article on Spanish Wikipedia and expand and improve.
