POV edits to article
editI've reverted a series of edits that added POV language to the article. Without sources, it isn't appropriate to have language referring to a movie as "great." Please see WP:NPOV for more information. janejellyroll 04:35, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Very sketchy basis for claiming Hopkins was a lesbian
edit"She was also known for throwing wild parties that bordered on orgies and engaging in a bisexual lifestyle, as chronicled in The Sewing Circle, a book written (by Boze Hadleigh) about lesbians in Hollywood."
First of all, the only book where this is alleged was NOT written by Boze Hadleigh, who in himself is extremely dubious as a source. Sewing Circle was written by Axel Madsen.
Hopkins was married and divorced several times, which would seem to argue against this lesbian allegation.
Is there any actual, verifiable source to show Hopkins was a lesbian? Or doesn't accuracy matter?

From what I've read elsewhere, Miriam Hopkins was known to experiment but was predominantly heterosexual. (172.141.240.102 (talk) 14:07, 5 January 2008 (UTC))
Television work
editWhy was she given a star on the HWOF for her television work? There is no mention of any TV work in the article. Dollvalley 14:29, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
