"Mission: Impossible"
editThe Mission: Impossible (film series) is proposed to be converted to a franchise article, see talk: Mission: Impossible (film series) for the discussion -- 70.51.203.69 (talk) 02:18, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Improvisation is not new to this series, the had to modify the plan often in the original series, one entire mission is an improvisation to rescue captured Cinnamon Carter. In another the man they intended to turn into a witness (of a murder they faked) got killed by his own people and that required an instant new plan. In one rescue mission the man they wanted to free was moved from the cell they were ready to spring him from, they had to come up with a new addition to their plan. I could go on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.218.65.54 (talk) 15:46, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
Original M:I on UK TV
editWhy, oh why, can I not get a simple answer to a simple query?
All I want to know is which UK television channel broadcast Mission:Impossible back in the 1960s & beyond. There Is NOTHING WHATSOEVER on Wiki, IMdb or Google to answer my question. If I want to know about the USA, there's reams of info... but I'm not in the least interested in the States.
So, can anyone help me? Mad Hatter of Luton (talk) 12:34, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
season one with Steven Hill was broadcast on ITV in the sixties but later seasons 2 to 7 starring Peter Graves were broadcast by BBC TV both BBC One initially, then later on BBC Two
