No Longer @ WPHI (Dec 2006)?
editAn anonymous wiki editor noted that Monie is no longer the morning drive host at Philadelphia's WPHI as of the week of December 11. Monie's bio and photo are still on the site (as of today)[1], but she is NO LONGER on the roster of the station's morning drive hosts. Does anyone know what happened? Sundevilesq 08:26, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- An anonymous Wiki editor had this to add in the Radio career section (before I removed it):
- (Rumor is, monie interviewed young jeezy and were arguing over hip hop being dead)
- with no citation or reference, I believe this "rumor" was properly removed + I can't imagine anyone being fired for arguing hip hop history with Young Jeezy. Come on! Sundevilesq 02:13, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
- I stand corrected (yet again). Apparently there WAS an on-air beef between Monie and Jeezy, but references cited say that the beef had nothing to do with Monie leaving WPHI. Sundevilesq 23:39, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
2007 Comeback rumor
editI removed the "rumored 2007 comeback" note since it is 2010 and I didn't find any information about it. Regardless it should not be in future tense and was marked with needing a citation since 2008. Oneliketadow (talk) 23:42, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
Return to WPHI
edit107.9 is advertising that Monie Love is returning to the station. Should this be added to the article? http://boomphilly.com/3547243/its-a-monie-on-the-move-bbq-weekend/ -KaJunl (talk) 14:37, 25 May 2015 (UTC)
