Monta
editMy name is Monta. I am a boy I have a brother name key' maury, born 1953 and named after the Oklahoma University Boomer Sooners fire baton twirler, Monta Brown. I know Monta is an unusual name, there aren't many of us! I'm very curious to know the back story of Monta Ellis' name.71.136.35.193 20:45, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

editAccording to the Clarion Ledger site, http://www.clarionledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/99999999/SPORTS06/106290009, Monta was only Mr. Basketball once. This is confusing, however, as my personal memory is that he won it his freshman and senior year at Lanier. Can anyone confirm from somewhere else? Otherwise, I felt I had to put what the CL currently has. 74.68.113.189 (talk) 04:50, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
