Stopped becoming an an encyclopedia article
edit@Apapococ: Hi. I think that you are getting out of scope with what is meant to be an encyclopedia article. This is not meant to be the ultimate finding guide. Please look at it from the point of view of someone coming here with a basic interest in the topic an d"BOOM" that article awaits them with its maps, and everything. It is too much and needs to be pared back.

- I replied in the other thread sorry. Per province there will be additional information but because of the natur on how you edit and write on an already existing page here on Wikipedia those informations will come also step by step. Having all those informations on one place that is freely accessible is very important for people doing researchabout Montessori in Thailand, especially also the maps and the map images will be changed as we like to present one image for each province but they are in the making as on Wikipedia they are until now not available beside theones you see right now. They have to be big because otherwise you can;t present all of those in a flexible and most of all editable way also by others on Wikipedia. Unfortunately you can't place a leafmap inside Wikipedia even a plugin for Media Wiki exists that would make all much easier and then you could present the maps as a small window of a Map that shows only one certain location while you could then even move the map aroudn to other places. Beside that you could even save it as an image - not possible on Wikipedia as all the inormation on the map that you see on top of the background image won't show up when you like to see the completed image with all the schools to see where they are spread and where their are none etc.
- On the other side an image would be "dead" and nobody could edit and insert a new location so this is also a no go. The wikipedia solution is therefore the only one that is currently available because we can't insert real maps into Wikipedia to present all those informations i.e. on a Montessori School layer worldwide.
- Thailand by the way is only the start as our project "Montessori for All" actually encompasse the whole world and schools world wide. Next will be probably the schools in Ukraine where we have already many informations and that are in need of a centralized place that is freely accessible right now too.
- I think the STUB remark on he right side can be removed as well as LOW as that artcle is actually very important, you will see that as soon as I tell the community where it is.
- I was a school director of a Montessori School myself before and a parent and are working together with Phillip Montessori a Great Grand Son of Maria Montessori on Montessori for All.
- Thanks for your concernes and I appreciate your feedback but keep in mind that all thos information is only available because of years of research and why limiting the informational value by dropping the maps ;-) Those are always important when you talk about regions (well and I am actually Geography teacher too)

- Yikes, this whole thing is a disaster. It isn't content suitable for an encyclopedia in any way. The whole article may need to be deleted. I made one pass through removing the lowest-quality content, but even what remains likely wouldn't stand up to scrutiny. tedder (talk) 04:55, 26 March 2024 (UTC)
Fabricated sources from Elsevier?
editThere are 3 citations that claim to be published by Elsevier (sciencedirect.com), but these papers are nowhere to be found. 2 of the claimed authors have relatively uncommon names that have published other papers with other titles, but nothing with the claimed title or the claimed date. - You're right, that does seem sketchy. I can't find any references to those. The whole section, speculation about Montessori being driven by the EEC, is speculation at best. tedder (talk) 04:46, 26 March 2024 (UTC)

Instead of hastily suggesting deletion, it would be far more productive to involve experts who can assess whether the information is valuable to the general public and researchers alike.
One notable example is the recent "outsourcing" of the list of Montessori schools in Thailand and the interactive map showing the regional distribution of these schools. These resources were moved to separate pages, though they belong together and would be more beneficial on a single, comprehensive page. The individual responsible for creating this content is a highly respected international speaker with decades of experience, often presenting at conferences on various educational topics. Despite this, some contributors appear to have personal biases, repeatedly suggesting deletions without providing specific reasons, relying instead on generic complaints. Such behavior goes against the collaborative spirit of Wikipedia.
Moderators who act in this way—consistently rejecting or obstructing valuable contributions without due consideration—should be reviewed to ensure that Wikipedia remains a platform driven by shared knowledge and expertise, just as it was intended when it began. Only by respecting the contributions of subject matter experts can Wikipedia continue to serve as a reliable and comprehensive resource for the world.

- Why is everything about this topic from this SPA always a wall of text? I'm not enthusiastic to reply when the five pillars of Wikipedia are simply ignored. Two AI detectors put this at 77-88% AI-written, which also explains the fabricated sources. tedder (talk)
