Romanization of 真岡
editWhile I kind of agree Mooka should be the "correct" romanization, The city government and the railway company seem to consistently use Mōka (admittedly, often without a macron), for their official website, trains, and the station. So if we are to follow "use the official spelling" rule, I guess it should be Mōka rather than Mooka. The probrem is, it may be possible they are just being sloppy of English names (as Maxima m claimed so on Talk:Miki Railway Miki Line), and we often don't know which is the case. - While the railway company apparently chooses use "Moka", 真岡 should correctly be romanized as "Mooka". It is Mo + Oka, not "Mou + Ka", so "Mōka" is not really correct. --DAJF (talk) 09:47, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
