As I understand it Morpho laertes is not a valid name, because the original combination Papilio laertes Drury, 1782 was preoccupied by Papilio laertes Cramer, [1775] (now Memphis laertes). epistrophus Fabricius is a deliberate replacement name and should therefore be used.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Keith Edkins (talk • contribs) 10:56, 27 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
