Info on Muda
editInfo on Muda from Bai Bibo (p.c.):
"Xu Shixuan and I both went to the Muda village over 30 years ago. We did take down some words then, and handed it over to our Professor Li Yongsui in Banna during our fieldwork. Dimly remember that it has voiced consonant clusters Bl-, ml- voiced stops as Hani, and Yani.
Muda is spoken in 南联山, which is right. It used to be called 南联山乡 in 1987 under Xiaojie 小街公社 ministration. It is 嘎洒镇 probably now. I was told Muda is now separated into 26 or something hamlets for rubber plantation. There is no more a big village. I have not been there in the last 30 years."

Lost field notes
editI contacted Xu and asked for her field notes on Muda. She looked for them at her place and said that unfortunately her field notes have been lost. — Stevey7788 (talk) 09:08, 7 January 2019 (UTC)
