Rangilla Significance
editMuhammad Shah has been called Muhammad Shah Rangilla. This has been mentioned invariably in all the books. I am forgetting the author of book titled Later Mughals (Not the recent one by Darlymple), in which was mentioned that how the emperor had appeared for general audience in the woman's attire and caused embarrassment to other. Such acts on his part had made other to call him Rangilla even during his life time. I was just wondering that such acts obliquely suggest his sex life also and may be he was a gay. Does anyone know about such a reference? Sumir —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sumir Sharma (talk • contribs) 12:56, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
