I removed this from the article:
- The first Living Buddha, Qoigyi Sanggyai, came to Muli in 1580, reportedly from Qamdo, and became the apprentice of the 3rd Dalai Lama.
Assuming that Living Buddha here is an overly-literal translation of the Chinese term for tülku, this is still not right, since the first tülku was the Karmapa, several hundred years before 1580. Hence it's not clear what this is getting at. - Nat Krause(Talk!) 22:58, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

The following coordinate fixes are needed for Mili Tibetan Autonomous County (aka Muli) should be around 27° 55' N 101° 16' E. The given coordinates put it off in eastern China.
