Or is it more an issue that you dont think it is notable. Because I dont see how the article could tell about Tia without describing the situation at hand. Like thousands of similar articles.--BabbaQ (talk) 21:40, 8 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I agree with Knowledgekid87. This is an utterly pointless article at this point in time. It's precipitate in every way. Write a considered article at some future point, if you want. For now, leave this matter to the news media, and let Wikipedia be an encyclopedia. Russ London (talk) 18:45, 10 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Go look at the list of murdered Americans, and see how many of them are non-notable. Then you can come back here and tell us you think this article should be deleted, once you've complained about a few of those, mkay? --Τασουλα (talk) 10:10, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I think the case is possibly notable but the entry itself does not tell us WHY. There is plenty of blather in there about blaming the cops for not finding the body right away but that shouldn't really be the point of the entry, should it? I think people seeking information about the case would more likely be looking for possible motives or explanations as to why the crime happened. 122.152.167.60 (talk) 04:37, 15 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
Also, if this is one of those cases where the British tabloids have generated more coverage than is appropriate, perhaps the article could feature or connect to a list of such cases. It's known all over the world that British people WORSHIP the tabloids even more so than Americans (especially when there is a missing child to contend with), so that unto itself is a noteworthy topic. 122.152.167.60 (talk) 04:43, 15 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
Wait, question: How is the comparison to Americans relevant? It doesn't seem to be relevant at all, to which I say, I do not think bigoted comments are appropriate. - Boneyard90 (talk) 12:40, 15 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
I noticed that, good to see its already been changed to disappearance, although the police have opened a murder inquiry, no charges has been brought yet and no fixed evidence released. 86.185.54.231 (talk) 20:04, 10 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
If (when) the body is confirmed as Tia Sharp, the article title should be changed to Death of Tia Sharp. Murder should not be presumed until after a legal verdict. WWGB (talk) 06:32, 12 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
(We can use murder pre-emptively depending on reliable sources but that's not so important)
Lets wait for the AfD to close first, moving the page now will be redundant if the article is not kept, if there are sources add them into the article that confirm her death and a move can always be made afterwards. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 20:44, 12 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
What? I don't understand your point. Nowt wrong with editing an article under deletion disccussion and surely it was just as redundant for you to move it back? EggCentric21:30, 12 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
Actually, that links says that they are still awaiting formal identification. They've charged Hazell with Tia Sharp's murder, but the body hasn't formally been identified. 146.90.141.14 (talk) 21:59, 12 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
I've moved the article back to Disappearance of Tia Sharp, where it should stay until the AfD process is finished. Using the word "murder" in the article title makes a currently-unsupportable presumption about the results of a judicial process that has only just started, and won't be finished for months, at the very least.

Many reports now state that she is presumed dead, I have noted this on the main page. Please discuss if you have any issues with this. This includes the discover of a body in her GrandMothers house. ICabrit (talk) 10:02, 11 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
