editAny reason for the use of "Islet" rather than "Island" in the name?. All the tour companies in Hainan use the later, which would tend to indicate that it's the WP:COMMONNAME. Philg88 ♦talk 08:37, 9 December 2014 (UTC)

- If you were curious, I changed it because their website says "Islet". But yes, we know it as "Island" and I don't even think there is a word in Chinese for "islet". Ironically, it is actually a peninsula, which is of course is a "piece of land bordered by water on three sides", and also a very unpopular name for a girl.
