Minimum age for a learner's permit in NY is 16. No exceptions. Minimum age for a learner's permit in California is 15 1/2. If the June 2000 birth date was correct, she still wouldn't be eligible for a permit in California. She also mentions driving in Boston. Minimum age for a learner's permit in Massachusetts is 16. If she's only 15, she's driving illegally in New York and Boston and publicly tweeting about it.

That says Natalie is 11. Since her birthday is in June, she would have turned 12 that year. Meaning she would have turned 16 this June.

Plus, the Official Facebook page that Wikipedia cites as proof of her age clearly states that her birthday is June 21 1999

Those sources that would make her birthday 21 June 1999 sound quite compelling. But there are also strong indications that the June 2000 birthday is correct. Namely Natalies own words, and the word of her mother. Please see:

There are at least two videos in which Natalie states her age. These are:

Where she says she is eleven. That was on the occasion of the 3rd annual Haunted Hayride even in October 2011. That would rule out a the June 1999 birthday. (There is also a companion video on the same occasion with her sister Emily who states that she is nine)

Also in early 2009 there was an interview with Barbara Alyn Woods, the mother of the three Lind girls. In this interview she states the ages of her three daughters as 8, 6 and one year old. I think these two interview videos and the interview with the mother above carry some weight.

There is a tweet from her mother, Barbara Alyn Woods (https://twitter.com/BarbAlynWoods) where she says that Natalie was on (the TV series One Tree Hill) when she was 5 and that she played "Alicia". That must be episode 7 of the fourth season of One Tree Hill, released in November 2006. If Natalie was really born in 1999 that would imply that the episode was filmed more thant one year in advance of its airing. That sounds unlikely.

There is a video from the outlet named "TMZ" from late 2015. One of the people who are shown working there says she is fifteen (actually I have trouble understanding his voice - it could be that he sayed "sixteen", but I find "fifteen" more likely. There is also an authenic looking cast biography for "Dear Dumb Diary", a project of Natalies sister Emily. There the ages of the three Lind sisters are given as 12, 11 and 5. There is also a comment under an article from 2008 about Woods youngest daughter, a baby back then. In that comment it is claimed that Natalie is "6-7". Now 6 years would be even too young for 21 June 2000 as her birthdate - but if June 1999 were correct, the comments author would be off by two or three years. That sounds unlikely to me. There is also the now defunct lind-sisters.com website which suggested that Natalie was born in 2000.

With respect to the "Celebrity baby scoop" article linked above. The stated ages there do no match how Barbara Alyn Woods is quoted. She says explicitly that her youngest daughter is about to turn 4. So the author of the piece adjusted the age upward in the photo description. Maybe Natalies age was also adjusted?

I note that almost all actors and actresses with substantial credits have a birthday stated in Wikipedia. If someone could mention that to Natalie, or her Mother and kindly ask for an personal, unambiguous statement (i.e. with year of birth given) somewhere on Twitter or Instagram this Wikipedia entry could be brought up to standards.

I don't trust the UPI source. It is just a table and doubt any fact checking was used. Looks like an an automated IMDb search was used to generate it as data does match IMDb pretty closely and we can't use IMDb. Doesn't prevent UPI from using it though and washing it. Also current close to the subject verified social media reports that she just turning 21, not 22 so adds credence it is wrong. I put back the original estimate we used that covers both years in contention. Lind could easily fix this if she wanted to with a clear statement meeting WP:ABOUTSELF but has chosen not to do so. WP:BLPPRIVACY would suggest she really doesn't want this detail widely known officially. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:58, 22 June 2021 (UTC)
