Nate Robinson's Height
editThere seems to be some misinformation about Nate's height... he is not 5' 9". He is 5' 7.75", 5' 9" with shoes which is a big difference. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Nate-Robinson-67/ he was measured 5' 7.75" barefoot at his 2005 nba combine. I have changed the first paragraph to list him at 5' 7.75" without shoes, but i'll leave 5' 9" on his right sidebar (as that is the nba.com stat) to avoid confusion when comparing nba profiles. A whole section for Slam Dunk Contests?
editIs there any real justification for having a whole section devoted to Robinson's slam dunk contest performance? Granted, it's the only professional award he's won, and the way he won it was somewhat controversial (though that's more relevant to the contest rather than the player), but for players, winning an All Star weekend contest is, at best, a minor footnote in a career - after all, Robinson is a professional basketball player, not a professional slam dunk competitor. I don't think it warrants more than a mention in the intro. Ytny (talk) 00:46, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it's perfectly justified because it actually happened and because it's well-documented, and frankly, it's one of his few accomplishments. If undue weight is an issue, then I'd suggest expanding the article in general. hateless 01:29, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- No. See WP's policy about recent events i.e. 'recentism'. Tjrover (talk) 21:48, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I would even say it is very justified and important because in a game of freakishly tall and big athletes, he is tiny. He is even smaller than the average man yet dunks, which is a tall mans thing if there ever was a thing, better than anyone... Nate Robinson Vertical
editNate Robinson's Vertical is at least 48 inches(4 feet) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 76.197.231.1 (talk) 04:29, 24 February 2007 (UTC).
- Fair enough. But you have to cite a reliable source. Currently, our source says 43.5 inches and that's what we're going with. --Ytny (talk) 04:40, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:A robinson 268.jpg
editImage:A robinson 268.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Fourth Child
editApparently he has a fourth child from an affair. I haven't found any mainstream news sites reporting on this, but it seems to have been confirmed via his Instagram. Here's a source: http://www.inflexwetrust.com/2016/01/26/nate-robinson-begs-his-girlfriend-on-ig-to-forgive-him-for-getting-sidechick-pregnant/
Also not sure whether this is considered notable but he was fined by the NBA for complaining about the officials, source: https://www.cbc.ca/sports/basketball/nba/nate-robinson-fined-25-000-by-nba-for-comments-1.2454269 — Preceding unsigned comment added by SlayerofOrcs (talk • contribs) 02:01, 5 February 2021 (UTC)
