Someone should find out whether this government agency's name is officially translated to "State..." or "General..." The current situation with a link to "General..." in the introduction, which only leads back to this article, doesn't make much sense. As the agency's Chinese name starts with 国家, I think it should be translated to "State...", but Google hits say something different. 87.77.27.9 (talk) 02:04, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
- On the agency's Web site,[1] "State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of the People's Republic of China" is written in English at the top. A recent Reuters story used the name "State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television". The name was recently changed following a merger of two agencies; the name that was chosen differs from the one that had been announced. I had updated the English name without updating the Chinese text or anything else. I've removed the circular link; thanks for finding that. —rybec 02:16, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
