Nawanagar → Navanagar State — Like Mysore State, Hyderabad State, Bombay State, see also The Imperial Gazetteer of India - http://dsal.uchicago.edu/reference/gazetteer/ type "navanagar state" into the search box. --TopoChecker. Year?
editWhat is the meaning of the statement that "The year (frozen) was 978 (Islamic calendar)." This needs clarification. 978 AH corresponds to 1570 CE, 30 years into the life of the state. A guess is that the first coins were issued in that year and that subsequent coins carried the same date as such "freezing" of the date on coins was not uncommon in India. If so, this needs to be made clear.Bill (talk) 21:50, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
