Rank and decoration
edit(1) A decoration of a serviceman can be used as a honorific suffix, since it is related to his service shouldn't his rank be given too, in this case shouldn't the lead start, Subedar Neeraj Chopra VSM (2) Secondly Subedar is his rank not his honorific, contrary to what is written in the info box. Yogesh Khandke (talk)
Not honorary rank?
edit@Wjemather: Subhedar is not a honorary rank and should be removed from infobox.Rock Stone Gold Castle (talk) 13:46, 21 October 2022 (UTC)

Important to mention Army selection in body
editGetting into Army is an important part of his Early life, as he got the required resources for javellin training there. Need to include with cited sources:
- In 2016, Chopra was recruited directly by the Indian Army as a Junior Commissioned Officer with the rank of Naib Subedar, as per the cited sources. RogerYg (talk) 05:28, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
Is it probably a promotion ?
edit@User4edits: @Jeraxmoira:
This certainly needs to stop. With inappropraite mention of doctor with his name LPU chancellor is openly claiming all medal winning olympians are from his university.
Certainly he should provide a list of names who are his students, so that in next Olympic the claim can be crosschecked.

Referring to https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Lovely_Professional_University&diff=prev&oldid=1043486288
is it ok let the following statement remain as such in the article:
-
Around 2021, Chopra also enrolled at Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar, Punjab for a bachelor's degree.
-
Lovely Professional University claims to have several high profile Olympians as its alumni.

They may be, but can it be considered to be genuine and above suspicion that it is a promotional initiative by the university?
It may be a breach of WP: PROMO and WP: COI
