editI have always been curious about the "one-woman' play that inspired MBFGW. If possible, information on it should be included. All I know is that Tom Hanks saw it and wanted to trun it into a movie. But for how long did she do it? What venue did she perform it in? Was it indeed semi-autobiographical? And how close is its dialogue to the movie? - Just a fan ----

Nia Vardalos -- Hello!
edit75.120.79.204 (talk) 15:35, 3 July 2009 (UTC) I am so sorry I missed you in Greece by one month. I wish I could have met you there. I was celebrating a special birthday. I have a project that, with your background, would interest you immensely. I met a couple on my Mediterranean Cruise last month, that said you often visit your parents in Canada. I hope you read this and will look me up on Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble.com.I started writing three years ago. I know, I am a late bloomer. I am up to book #5. You know the more you write the more you learn. Well, I think I finally am lucky with #5. I have a different publisher who does not leave out punctuation and misspells words. When you start out knowing nothing about the publishing game, you learn a lot over the years. I guess I shoud write a book about that. However,I am too involved with Romance-Fiction. All my books are different. Each location is a new one. I have no idea where these stories are coming from. I will keep putting them down on paper untill there are no more. I just turned eighty 3/4/29. I shall continue doing what my birth day says, "March forth." I would love to one day meet you, just to talk. I believe we have the same sense of humor and zest for life. You have a Carole Lombard quality with your acting. Keep your audience laughing. We need more of you in this crazy world. Love, CAROLYN SCANZE GIGLIO
