The line at the beginning of the page 'has a son called patrick beverly. He is also the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team.' doesn't sound right and should be removed. 2601:84:4701:3530:89A0:1B45:2500:3D85 (talk) 14:55, 16 September 2020 (UTC)

Since it is a high traffic page, it is subject to high levels of vandalism.

I would like to change the line at the beginning where it says: "won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award for the 2020-21 NBA season (the first center to win since Shaquille O'Neal in 2000, the first Nugget, the first Serbian, and the sixth international player to win the award)." I would like to add some significant information and change it to: "won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award for the 2020-21 NBA season (the first center to win since Shaquille O'Neal in 2000, the first Nugget, the first Serbian, the sixth international player, and the lowest draft pick to win the award)." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:7C00:C610:94:E424:BC70:FF91 (talk) 22:33, 8 June 2021 (UTC)

Fishing for a record potentially

Is it really relevant that Vasilije Micić and jokic became first pare of people from same country to win mvp and euroleague mvp it seems unnecessary and fishing for stats maybe I’m wrong but I don’t see how it’s relevant Black roses124 (talk) 22:13, 5 July 2021 (UTC)

Yes, it is most definitely a notable achievement, being the first time it has ever occurred in history.Docholliday11 (talk) 21:50, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

"2021–22 season: Second MVP award" title should have added "... and all time single season PER leader.

It's an "All in One" advanced metric that's highly valued in NBA media, coaching, front office and fan circles and is the most common denominator of the MVP winner for a season in which the player leads in the category. AcidBurn1992 (talk) 12:34, 4 July 2022 (UTC)

Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit semi-protected}} template. As an advanced stat, I'd leave it for the body. MVP is the general defining achievement. —Bagumba (talk) 13:48, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
