Edit rationale
edit- For this edit (and the subsequent one):
- There's no reason to create a "Literature" category for just the comic.
- The audio drama is as much an "Arts"-related entry as any of the other entries that were already in that category.
- "Visual media" seems to me to be an at-best unintuitive, at-worst inaccurate heading for a play, and possibly for films and television. (I checked to see if we had an article that would explain the usage of the term, but it redirects to Mass media which is no help at all.) To me that heading seems to serve no purpose except to prevent the audio drama from being sorted with the topics most similar to it. I think of "visual media" as sculpture, paintings, etc.
- I don't see the value of creating the "Arts" category with the more specific subcats; it seems to me just as helpful to the user as simply making "Music," etc. their own categories. Also, if you create an Arts category, then you need to include every Arts-related topic somewhere in that category, which results in either pointless subcategories that only contain one item, or a catch-all "Other arts" subcategory that exists in addition to the "Other uses" category, which seems to me to be unnecessarily confusing to the user who may not immediately realize whether his topic would be in "Other arts" or "Other uses".
- I edited the descriptions for the Doctor Who audio, the comic, and the Stargate Atlantis episode, as the titles of those links seem sufficiently descriptive that there's no chance of confusion with any other listed entries.
- I added back the back court entry; I don't know why it was removed, as the linked article clearly supports that that part of the tennis court is referred to as "No man's land." Propaniac (talk) 14:10, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
- I grouped the geographical locations together and followed the direction for order listed in MOS:DAB. I created a catch all arts section and named it General arts. I checked the traffic on the articles and the one batman comic gets the most traffic, deosn't seem propert to leave it at the bottom. I deleted the lesbian erotica note because no mention of it was found on the page and I included a couple more links. --Labattblueboy (talk) 17:20, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: no consensus to move. The usage supports the move, and the incoming links (and possibly long-term sgnificance, which I think Labattblueboy alludes' to) oppose it. DIFFCAPS permits it, but doesn't require it. -- JHunterJ (talk) 13:19, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
No Man's Land (disambiguation) → No Man's Land – Per WP:DIFFCAPS no primary topic for the upper case, No man's land gets 10,182 views but No Man's Land (Frank Turner album) gets 9,278 (nearly as many), No Man's Land (1987 film) gets 3,644, No Man's Land (2001 film) gets 3,331 and No Man's Land (Eric Bogle song) gets 2,244 meaning even if a significant number of people type a capital "M" and "L" were looking for the general concept it wouldn't be primary by usage. The No Man's Land redirects gets 867 views but No Man's Land (disambiguation) 783[[1]] (nearly as many) suggesting the majority of readers searching with the upper case were misdirected. See the similar RMs at Talk:Trauma Center#Requested move 22 August 2019 and Talk:Total War#Requested move 22 August 2019. The prior RM in 2015 failed because it was proposed to move the concept to No man's land (concept), in this case No man's land can stay as is but like Red Meat and Bird Box there is no primary topic for the upper case. - Oppose. The term, especially in the First World War, was very commonly capitalised and is the clear primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:21, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose I have my doubt's that the primary topic of the capitalized version is not the battlefield concept. A read through the links to No Man's Land show they are almost exclusively related to World War I. I remain unconvinced WP:DIFFCAPS is applicable to this case as capitalization isn't a clear indication of distinct topics. The reliable sources are also (from a google books perspective) principally World War I and are certainly not for any of the items listed above.--Labattblueboy (talk) 13:05, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
- But as noted just a sample of the other uses get more views than the battlefield concept and most people searching for the concept aren't going to shift up while those searching for a proper noun are more likely to. Crouch, Swale (talk) 13:19, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
- To state the other uses get more views than the battlefield concept is candidly untrue, at least not in the long term. If we take the view stats for the past two weeks we see the battlefield concept receives at least double the daily hits of the examples cited above[2] . The daily stats for the Frank Turner album have stabilized at about half those of the battlefield concept, following a two week blip, and there is no reasonable prospect this will change. The same is true for every work named after the concept. No Man's Land and No man's land are not distinctly different concepts; the capitalization is simply a personal style-point rather than conceptual difference. Frankly, in World War I related literature it appears more often than not capitalized but I have no idea if that's really a matter of MOS:ENGVAR or the period of publication. Either way, I remain entirely unconvinced that when people are conducting searches they are making a consistent distinction in capitalizing. The view statistics don't provide guidance either way as the No Man's Land redirect doesn't appear is search results. What is clear is this action would result in pointing existing redirects to the wrong place as pretty much all the articles with No Man's Land linked are war related.--Labattblueboy (talk) 00:36, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
- Fair point about the views but there for the lower case, as noted even if some searches and some sources use the upper case its not primary unless most do so, do you really think that those seeking the concept will search for it with the upper case often enough?
