I think you have a good start--this article has the potential to be very informative, but I agree with the suggestion boxes at the top of the article. The tone is not completely neutral; you need to make sure you're just stating facts without opinions. I know this is hard because there are not a lot of unbiased resources available on this topic, but the overview section could definitely be more organized and didactic in tone. Besides that, you just need to expand the sections you already have. For example, you might want to make the History of the JV Program section into a timeline or some other more organized form that includes specific dates and names. Also, you might want to add a section of stats and season records and rosters. I would also definitely link your article to the UNC varsity team page. Hey, here are some of my thoughts on your article.

Introduction

First, I think you chose a very interesting topic. I doubt many people know about the existence of the Junior Varsity basketball team, though everyone knows about our Varsity team. While I was reading the article, it was very easy to follow the content because the facts provided were very straightforward and were written concisely. The organization of the paper made it easy to read.

History of the J.V. Program

I think this section could be improved if you went more in depth about the origin of the program, and added some statistics; for example, if you could have show the performance of the team since inception, as well as growth, I think that would add a lot to the section.

Competition

You mentioned that the Junior Varsity team plays three hours before when the Varsity team plays. It would be better to show how the schedule works for the J.V team and how their tournament is different from that of the Varsity team as well. For instance, do they have the NCAA rules applied to their games as well? How many tournaments are there in the J.V team? Do teams included in ACC also provide some J.V. teams as well? This would help understand which teams they compete against, and it would be also interesting if you mention some rival teams within those groups and how the UNC J.V team stands among those groups as well.

Famous Coaches / Famous Alumni

You have two different sections for famous coaches and famous alumni, but I think you can combine these two as in one under “Notable Players and Coaches.”

Reference and External Links

You just listed some websites that you have used to implement this article; however it doesn’t meet the requirements for the reference. As far as sources go, I found this article interesting and you might consider to use this as your reference if you want.

This article seems to have been analyzed very accurately thus far. The suggestions at the top of the page are a good summary of what needs some work with the article, in my opinion. The tone of the article seems biased; many descriptive adjectives used add to the flow and style, but they also seem to skew the "neutral" intentions of the article. However, there is good utilization of links to other Wikipedia pages and breadth of coverage. Your categories picked cover most of the topics one would want to see. A more in depth look at the "History" section would add a lot to the article. If the team has such a storied history, tell more about it. As mentioned before, the last two categories could be combined into "Notable Coaches and Alumni" ("Famous" might be a strong adjective). Notable players are not listed, though--the references should be a category by themselves. I agree with the peer reviews that have come before me. There is a lot of good stuff here- the article is organized, concise, contains lots of internal links, and is in a category.

There's room for expansion though. The sections you have are awesome (and would be great places to start to expand), but you might consider having a "see also" or "external links" section. A direct link to the schedule would be beneficial. Also, resources should be a category of their own (see this Wikipedia page to learn more specifics about citing your sources and formatting them). Additionally, maybe a picture would be appropriate?

To address the concerns listed at the top of the page: Gathering a wider variety of sources will increase relevancy and decrease the sense that this is an "advertisement" for the team. List your references clearly and cite them from the text (again, info here if you need it). If you want to use opinions or conjectures as part of your article (probably something you should avoid, anyway), use quotes and cite their sources. Also, link to your article from other pertinent articles to keep it from being an orphan. I would consider linking from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Roy Williams, North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball, Phil Ford, and whoever the current coach is (which, by the way, isn't clear to me from the article).
