Page name
editHi folks Can we get some other people feed back on what the name of this page should be:
I think it should fall under the full official name that the party itself uses on its official website North Dakota Democratic-NPL PartySmith03
I'd agree with that, but North Dakota Democratic Party should be a redirect. I've made it so. Meelar 00:48, 9 Apr 2004 (UTC)
thanks for your input that not the problem as far the N D Dem party another use wants to leave as Democratic-Non Partisan Smith03
- Placing "League" and "Party" next to each other is a grammatical redundancy. On the ballot it is referred to as the Democratic-NPL Party. Recent cycle party communications use Democratic-NPL of North Dakota. There would be no ambiguity to use page titles that omit "North Dakota", as North Dakota is the only place where any combination of these names are used. My thought is that Democratic-Nonpartisan League or Democratic-NPL Party would be better page titles. --AlexWCovington (talk) 09:03, 24 March 2013 (UTC)
Hello North Dakota
editAs an Illinois State University Student of Political Science, I was honored to be assigned the North Dakota Democratic Non-Partisan League Party Wikipedia page, as part of my final grade for the Class, Political Parties and Interest Groups; I have been charged with researching and updating the content of the page. An exciting process, don't be alarmed if you see new updates, and edits in the coming months.

- Hello, Ztteaguisu. As a North Dakota resident, I am thrilled to have you working on this page. I just recently starting cleaning up and updating some of North Dakota Politics-related pages, and am very excited to see what you have to offer. I'm not very familiar with the history or intricacies of the state parties—I only know what I read in the papers—but if you have any questions, I'll watch this article and its talk page and provide my assistance where I am able. —LinkTiger (talk) 02:28, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
This does not read like an advertisement, contrary to the misapplied label, which I am now deleting. Most of it is a fairly accurate and evenhanded history of the Non-Partisan League. Though it could use a somewhat more dispassionate tone, the mood is pretty balanced overall. 24.59.161.166 (talk) 03:57, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
What is the official name
editNorth Dakota Democratic-NPL Party or North Dakota Democratic-Nonpartisan League Party ? Their webpage seems to use the former. Czechia2016 (talk) 13:09, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Per the organization's bylaws: "The name of the organization is 'North Dakota Democratic-Nonpartisan League Party.' The party may also be known as the Democratic-NPL or the Dem-NPL."
- As such, the article's current title is accurate. Nicknimh (talk) 19:11, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

The party's own history page plagiarizes this article.
editDon't know whether anything needs to be done about this, but it is pretty amusing that some staffer of theirs was that lazy. Especially since this is not a very well-written article. Nicknimh (talk) 07:03, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
