Someone added in quotes to this list page, typically that would be added to wikiquote instead since it hinders readability. Adding a note here to discuss this. Jooojay (talk) 21:41, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

This seems inappropriate category for a list (see MOS:LIST), seeing that this is a city. It is stating that some people are "native" to a city over others and that is what makes them notable? Typically other cities list people by occupation or notability traits. Someone needs to deep clean this list. Jooojay (talk) 22:04, 19 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
I did some more research on this issue and per WP:SAL, WP:LISTPEOPLE, WP:CSC and per the instructions the list needs to be arranged by common selection criteria and have notability. Nation of origin (ie. from India vs not) is not a notability feature and not a common selection criteria, but rather appears nationalistic. I would like to discuss this list structure here with anyone else interested, and make changes to the layout. Jooojay (talk) 00:19, 13 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
