About disappearance of the language
editThere is may be some outdated information in the beginning of the page:
Krauss documented continued decline and downgraded the status to "Very few or none of the children speak the language"
I live in the village and in some of the households, especially who live with older grandparents, the language is still strong with the kids. The school now is dual language, which means the kids get the language on a daily basis. In church I hear Cup'ig a lot. It's still in trouble but maybe "continued decline" is an exaggeration. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Damnjoe (talk • contribs) 07:52, 17 September 2018 (UTC)
Redlink Nunivak Cup'ig people
editI've turned the base page name Cup'ig into a DAB listing Nunivak Cup'ig people, which is a redlink used in this article. I suggest it be created as a redirect to Nunivak Island#People. 94.21.204.175 (talk) 10:41, 28 January 2019 (UTC)
