Untitled commment
editRewrote the synopsis to avoid spoiling the entire movie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:7080:102:5800:70BB:C242:2E5D:AF9A (talk) 19:25, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
- @2603:7080:102:5800:70BB:C242:2E5D:AF9A: Read WP:SPOILER. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 20:45, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
The article doesn't say you have to spoil the movie, and as the ending is major twist, and the film has just been released, it seems like a pointless effort to do so except to ruin other people's enjoyment of the film.
- @2603:7080:102:5800:70BB:C242:2E5D:AF9A: That defeats the purpose of having a film article. Every single film article eventually has a plot summary. Per WP:SPOILER, we are allowed to add one. It does not matter if it contains spoilers. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 11:41, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
"You are allowed" doesn't mean you should - and yes it does matter for a recently released and critically lauded film. I see other articles where the editors do not spoil the film, so it seems you just got a jones on to do this. At least the plot summary could be rewritten so it doesn't seem like a 6th grader wrote it on back of his notebook during lunch.
- @67.248.74.188: I didn't write the plot summary so feel free to rewrite it.
I see other articles where the editors do not spoil the film
. Which ones? If they do not spoil the film, then they are going against WP:SPOILER. If you want to know what happens in the film, read the plot summary. If you do not want the plot spoiled or a twist revealed, then don't read the plot summary. It's as simple as that. Some Dude From North Carolina (talk) 13:16, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
Henry's last words in the plot synposis
editThe plot synopsis says his last words are "I'm hoping...". This is not correct. After saying he doesn't belong in the world anymore, he says to his son "I'm hoping you do.". This is at around 1:31:16 in the movie. Very different meaning from what the article currently suggests. 2604:3D09:7B7D:EBB0:441E:DF7E:8A1C:E92A (talk) 02:58, 2 July 2022 (UTC)
