Incitement of Breaking the Child Marriage law
edit(I am not good at computer stuff... I apologize if I am doing this wrong) ~~I posted this on Oct. 11, 2012 at 2pm.~~ Om Prakash Chautala made a statement on October 10, 2012 where he said that he believes in child marriage (i.e. when a man marries a female child) because it curbs rape. This is a crazy, crazy thing to believe and say. http://www.hindustantimes.com/Punjab/Chandigarh/Chautala-backs-Khaps-idea-of-early-marriage-of-girls-to-curb-rapes/SP-Article1-942603.aspx http://www.thehindu.com/news/states/other-states/child-marriage-as-remedy-for-rape-sparks-furore/article3984623.ece — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.137.38.148 (talk) 20:47, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
Om Prakash Chautala
editWe should rename the page as Om Prakash Ghotala, since he has actually done a ghotala, and with the court order, this is also verifiable, as Wikipedia wants. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GandooMaster (talk • contribs) 06:54, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
How someone can change the surname of a person from Chautala to Ghotala. Does wiki allow this??? court orders are not stating that you can suggesting that change the surname of person on a issue which is totally falsely implicated on Om Prakash Chautala. So I request the users to avoid such ideas.
Convicted Criminal
editNo political agenda please. Please present unbiased facts without diluting or embellishing. His profession is agriculturist but his occupation as convicted criminal has been confirmed by the supreme court, criminal as occupation must be mentioned and this is important enough to include in the lead. I have inserted the following text with references:
Om Prakash Chautala (born 1 January 1935) is a Convicted Criminal and Disenfranchised Felon politician and former Chief Minister of Haryana from Indian National Lok Dal. He and his son Ajay Singh Chautala's criminal sentence for the systematic mass corruption in recruitment of 3,206 teachers was confirmed by the 'shocked" honorable Supreme Court of India with the following observation in its judgement, "The overwhelming evidence showed the shocking and spine-chilling state of affairs in the country", they are currently imprisoned for ten years and disenfranchised from contesting elections, and currently lodged in nation's maximum security Tihar Jail.[1][2]
