Cast Members & Release Date

Hi everyone. Just wondering if we know if any other characters have been confirmed. Such as new characters or Hugh Grant returning. Do we know if Sally Hawkins has quit the entire film or will she be in at the start and later be replaced with a backstory? Also, will the film take place in 2024? This film has only just gone into production so we are in the very early stages. As days/months go by, there may well be confirmation on new/returning characters. What is known with Hawkins is likely to be definite[1] and at this point, no-one knows if it will be released in 2024 or some year later. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 18:44, 28 July 2023 (UTC)

Michael Gambon

United States production too?

With Columbia Pictures and Stage 6 films being listed as production companies, does that mean Paddington in Peru also has United States as a country of origin on top of United Kingdom and France? GTAGamer245 (talk) 14:13, 22 September 2024 (UTC)

Editors should not be drawing their own conclusions about the country of origin based on assumptions about the production companies. They don't always match up, so on the basis that the United States was not a production country for the first two films we should wait and see how sources categorize it when it comes out. Please see the guidance at Template:Infobox_film#Parameters. If the United States is indeed now formally recognized as a production country then there needs to be a source to that effect.
