empath was a star trek TOS episode, and definitely not from 2002! what is that a typo for?

IMDB shows a movie empathy from 2003 and follow-up TV series from 2007 -- was she in either of those? not showing in the cast lists. moreover, wiki doesn't even HAVE them.
