I could be proved wrong, but I am suspicious of several recent anon edits. I realise we may not be able to take the IMDB as gospel, but some of the info on these edits is at variance with the information there, notably her date of birth, she is not listed on the casts of Bend it Like Beckham or the 2002 Hansel and Gretel, Stephen Chow does not mention their marriage. Some recent changes have been reverted, not by me. I am suspicious of claims that she had parts in film since the mid-1970s, this is not on the IMDB or the other source. Is there hoaxing going on? PatGallacher (talk) 16:04, 23 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

It looks like it's a hoax. I had reverted the changes, assuming that someone had simply gotten mixed up with the filmography of another actress (or actresses) with the same name. However, I've now looked on IMDB's cast lists for some of the movies listed in that erroneous (post-1976) filmography and neither a "Pamela Franklin" not her supposed character's name appears in them. Lady Macbeth?

edit

What is the point of note 6 about some other actress of the same name in a production of Macbeth? The coincidence is not mentioned in the text, and there seems no reason why readers should be introduced to an unlikely potential confusion. Rozsaphile1 (talk) 16:19, 4 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
