The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: procedural close, since the page that the proposer intended to be moved was not the dab page that is hosting the move request, but other editors have responded to the proposal as a request to move the dab. Suggest opening a new request on the other page if a move is still desired. Dekimasuよ! 20:38, 22 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Para CommandosPara (Special Forces) – 'Para Commandos' are currently referred to as 'Para (Special Forces)' and sometimes 'Para-SF', something which is reflected in the Parachute Regiment (India) article and what I believe is the Parachute Regiments official website, along with articles like these: [1], [2], [3] – Myopia123 (talk) 02:12, 16 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:13, 16 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
otherwise suggest Paras (Special Forces). Some things are better left pluralised. Parachute troopers (or commandos) don't tend to work alone. Other plurals in Wikipedia include Varicose veins and, quite literally, English plurals. searching paras gets results for UK parachute regiment. I didn't search through to find refs for the belgium or Indian forces. para also gets results for prefixes. Gregkaye 08:59, 16 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Strong oppose this is not an Indian Military article, the nominator's rational has no bearing on this article -- 67.70.35.44 (talk) 05:00, 18 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • I apologise for the incorrect link at the top. Para Commandos (India) is about the Special Forces of the Parachute Regiment. They used to be refferred to as 'Para Commandos' but are now referred to as Para Special Forces. The pictures in the article are of Para Special Forces personnel(9 Para Battalion). 'Para Commandos' no longer exist in the Indian Army. They are all 'Para Special Forces'. I am stating fact here. This is a purely technical matter.Myopia123 (talk) 15:52, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
Please make sure you have checked the links I have provided in the top post first.Myopia123 (talk) 15:54, 20 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
