Merge Proposal
editI just did some significant copy-editing on Parada Kingdom. After doing so, after doing so, the article is quite short, and I don't think there's any reason to have two articles about Parada. I propose that we merge Parada Kingdom article into Paradas (or vice-versa, I don't really care which is which, so long as there's only one article). Since we're talking about an ancient clan, I'm not sure that there's enough of a distinction between Parada-as-people and Parada-as-kingdom to warrant two articles. Please discuss this merger here. - Per Chola, Chera and Pallava the tendency seems to be to refer to a article about the dynasty rather than the people. Pandya and Pandyan Dynasty are an exception but those are a well developed pair of articles, which these two are not. So, I guess that I'd merge into Parada Kingdom and I would consider making singular the Paradas term for any redirect as it is a caste/tribe (of which there were members). - Sitush (talk) 13:26, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
