Coordinate error

edit

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for Parkhali : 40.668, 42.27 are actually Banak Cathedral's coordinates (http://www.geonames.org/search.html?q=banak+cathedral&country=). Therefore, I suggest to edit them to 40.9702889, 41.3837056.

Merge proposal

edit

Support the 2021 proposal to merge this with Altıparmak, Yusufeli given that these are the same, or nearby, locations. Suggesting a merge to Parkhali as the name more commonly used in the English (and historically), which is also the better developed article. Klbrain (talk) 10:33, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Depends, what you want to emphasize: the actual Turkish village Altıparmak or religous side with the monastery/church. The Georgian wikipedia seems to emphasize the religous side (→ google translate) - so a split into two different items may be possible too, similar to Turkish wikipedia Altıparmak (Q4737102) and Parkhali (Q607675).--katpatuka (talk) 11:46, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Good points. While two pages is probably appropriate for Turkish wikipedia, perhaps just one for .en, given the short text here (and likely to remain). Klbrain (talk) 16:51, 5 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
