The user "Eli Uncyk" added the following to the article: "There appears to be an internal contradiction in the conclusion that "identical duplicate sister chromosomes, produced through premeiotic replication, pair and separate during meiosis I in true parthenotes..... in comparison to the alternative of pairing homologous chromosomes, maintains heterozygosity in obligate parthenotes...." Homologous chromosomal pairings are more likely to create variations."

This disagreement with the articles content should have been placed in the talk page and not tagged onto the article.

However I believe the article does not require revision based on this comment because heterozygosity does not equate variation. The point of the statement in the article is to say how the heterozygosity of the mother is maintained is this mechanism irrespective of level of variation.
