Fair use rationale for Image:PatrickSookhdeo.jpg
editImage:PatrickSookhdeo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Reference
editOne of the refs seems to be a personal email, which is unlikely to be acceptable as a reference, I think... Evercat (talk) 17:28, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Sunday Telegraph article that was withdrawn
editThe link was on a wikipedia spam blacklist; other copies are around. If this link disappears, suggest search for string "For the past two weeks, Patrick Sookhdeo has been canvassing the opinions of Muslim clerics in Britain". Regards, Springnuts (talk) 18:13, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
Appeal
editI have added some data about the BF release on PS intention to appeal.Cpsoper (talk) 22:55, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
- In the light of his successful appeal, there are good grounds for revising the section on legal problems to underscore some of the alleged and serious irregularities in the prosecution. Cpsoper (talk) 04:07, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
Crown Court appearance
editAndykatib An account of a court appearance before conviction is not at all appropriate in the introduction, per WP:BLP. Per WP:BLPCRIME there is a strong case for removing any reference until a conviction. This is an encyclopedia not a tabloid. Cpsoper (talk) 08:46, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for your advice. Will take it onboard. There have been some articles within the British Christian community around the Sookhdeo court case. I will also rework the Legal Problems section to make it more neutral. Part of the second paragraph quotes a Barnabas Fund article unquestioningly as fact. Will add other sources to balance the section. Andykatib 23:52, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- There are also serious concerns about the integrity of the Swindon trial in this source reported from direct witnesses, I have summarised them. The validity of these will obviously be weighed in the appeal courts. Cpsoper (talk) 08:07, 11 May 2016 (UTC)
