editRemoving the link to 'Peter Hendy's Myspace page' as clearly this is nothing to do with him, the text is direct copied form wikipedia, and it appears to be a 'fan' site of some sort. If indeed it is Peter Hendy's myspace, then my god, TFL's press agents are scraping the bottem of the barrel to an extent they're soon gonna start tasting wood. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.142.152.242 (talk) 01:09, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
Suggest page move
editI suggest this page be moved to clear the 'Peter Hendy' space for a disambiguation page. I don't think the "British Peter Hendy" is any more notable than the "Australian Peter Hendy". Any suggestions for a suitable title for the British Peter Hendy? Lester 22:15, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

That Daily Mail story
editAll the reporting I found on the prostitution claims put forth by Daily Mail- which boiled down to just British tabloid The Standard, trying to replace the Daily Mail citation (which is a depreciated source), come from reporting allegedly from an interview conducted by British tabloid The Sun. When I searched on The Sun's website, the article or interview wasn't there, which to me suggested it may have been retracted at some point. Cheese2863 (talk) 12:01, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- Much of the controversy section appears to have been inserted by User:Garethdennis this morning. Whilst I am not unsympathetic given the issues that have ended up being aired in the media today, I am not convinced that Gareth is the best person to be in a position to follow WP:NPOV. It may be appropriate to revert or try to rewrite some of these edits accordingly. Adam Williams (talk) 12:16, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- To be honest this is fair enough. It was my hope that an intrepid editor would find a better source. I'm thankful that the Controversy section does now exist though. GarethDennis talk · contribs · website 12:21, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- The controversies have now melted away but that unreliable source the Guardian is now reporting the matter (linking to the Daily Mail) and reporting more besides.[1] Thincat (talk) 14:44, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- in light of guardian repetition of it, that seems like it should be enough to merit continued inclusion? Flatthew (talk) 15:17, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- It could possibly go into personal life, however i have concerns that it was only included in the Guardian Article due to the edits from this morning Miawgogo (talk) 15:20, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- I have added a chopped down version of the paragraph containing only what can be sourced off of what the guardian said. you'd hope they wouldn't have included it only off the back of it being on here. Flatthew (talk) 15:35, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
