Unfortunately there's not a single online page, searching through google. My source is obtained from a centenary book that I have with me. =Nichalp «Talk»= 13:22, August 6, 2005 (UTC)

How does one ensure that Wikipedia doesn't turn into a network for paying tribute to family and friends? While I have not heard of Perer de Noronha (and this could even be a reflection of my ignorance), perhaps this is a concern which needs to be address. As Wikipedia's popularity grows, it could become a more pressing issue. --fredericknoronha 18:50, 15 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

That's difficult to ascertain, but the person in question here notable. =Nichalp «Talk»= 11:29, 11 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Name in Portuguese

edit

Since Goa was Portuguese at that time, his name would be like this (in modern portuguese): Pedro Bertrand Cipriano Castelinho de Noronha.

He wasn't an inhabitant of Goa at the time. =Nichalp «Talk»= 19:34, 26 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

edit

An image used in this article, File:Peter-de-Noronha.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 16 November 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review
