First public performance of the orchestrated version
editThe date for this according to multiple sources [1] was 24 February 1869—not 28 February as was in the article. I've fixed that. The current reference (Hurwitz, 2010) also gives the 24th. It was performed in the Salle Ventadour of the Théâtre-Italien in Paris. This is an online reference you can use for the exact theatre:

A nudge in the (hopefully) right direction
editI see that the ever helpful Jaguar has kicked off the GA review. I'll assist here by noting some minor observations:
- Publication
- The end of the first para will need a cite.

- Scoring
