POV problem
editThis article seems to have a strong pro-Case/anti-DeForest POV. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.232.208.7 (talk) 00:20, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Contradiction in re: 'talking pictures'
editThe article claims that "...The Jazz Singer with Al Jolson in Vitaphone and is often incorrectly credited as the first talking picture," but then goes on to say that "The Jazz Singer was the first feature film to use synchronized sound for talking sequences." That would seem to make it the first "talking picture," a term not synonymous with "sound film." Dtremit (talk) 23:20, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:BlackmailStill.jpg
editThe image File:BlackmailStill.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Sountrack location
editThere is no information about sondtrack width and location. Perhaps, frame size is very important too. Runner1616 (talk) 19:42, 7 January 2015 (UTC)
