Picasa Search Boolean not working

Hi, I think the article is incorrect in saying that Picasa supports the Boolean NOT or Hyphen (-). I tested this out today, and it seems not to be working. Let me know if I should edit it out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.4.96.73 (talk) 07:12, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

If it's currently sourced, you should find sourcing to establish that it's now incorrect. If it isn't sourced, I'd say remove it. Doniago (talk) 14:49, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

The word "Leaked" is improperly used

Actually "leaked" implies an intentional release by a party not intended to release by the legitimate owner or another party in possession of the information, or from inside such party (organization).

False statement on who created Picasa

Picasa was never created by Idealab which is a business incubator and, as such, would not very likely be a company creating a piece of consumer software to start with.

Inscrutably, someone here on WP apparently managed to be superficial enough in their attention or thinking not to grasp the slightest clue about the difference.

Picasa (which was never named for a company, as wrongly stated on the Idealab article) was created by a company by the name of Lifescape that may or may not have resided in that incubator at all. Inscrutably, there is no article for Lifescape, Inc. (while many "Lifescape"s are found by full text search).

I'll correct that once I'm done leaving this note.

On a side note,

Picasa is included in the Wikipedia CD Selection...

just how good nobody in the school system would give a *beep* at who created Picasa...

Picasa web site seems to have been replaced by Google Plus

I think this is fairly recent, but not sure exactly when it happened. The address picasaweb.google.com not just forwards the browser to this photo section in Google+. --95.34.149.128 (talk) 02:59, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

recovering photos

I recently downloaded picasa, and it found photos I didn't even know the computer had, stuff long gone. From a previous computer, no less. I think it should be mentioned that this program will also act as a photo recovery program. No more search

The search function in Picasa Web Albums as described in https://support.google.com/picasa/answer/55850?hl=en does not work any more. All you get is a global picture selection. Searching just your own pictures is no more available. Try for example to see my https://picasaweb.google.com/Fritz.Joern/Rossbach and then use Picasa’s search on top right for a word in one of the captions like "Wied".
