• I think we can relax the newness rules a bit in this case. Samdutton has relatively little recent experience editing, and hence may not be as familiar with our rules. • @Samdutton: If you obtained the information by personally talking to the subject's son, unfortunately this would fall under original research, and any such content where the only source is the subject's son would have to be removed. • The article is long enough. It was nominated four days late but I will let this slide, as I explained above. The article presents a neutral overview of the subject's life; following the additions of inline citations, the article appears to be compliant with souring guidelines. Because this article exclusively relies on offline sources, I am WP:AGF with regards to possible close paraphrasing. There may be slight concerns with WP:QUOTEFARM in the "Influence" section, and the quotations may benefit from paraphrasing. However, this is not strictly disqualifying because QUOTEFARM states that there is no need for an arbitrary limit for legitimate and justified quotations.
• The hook is mentioned in the article and may be regarded as an accurate summary of the prose. However, it is not backed up by a citation. Based on the article, I suggest the following hooks for other editors to review:
